Located at the foot of the royal Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat, the Pollock Estate campus offers bed and breakfast accommodation during the University of Edinburgh's summer vacation.

We offer free parking. It works on first come first served basis, we do not pre-book or guarantee the space. In case you can't find a space, the security at the main entrance will advise you where to go.

is there parking on campus. we stayed there a couple of years ago and there was?

Free car parking is available on a first come, first served basis only; unfortunately, spaces are limited and we simply cannot guarantee they will always be available. Vehicles and contents parked on our estate are at the owner's risk.

Is the bathroom en suite, I.e actually in the room as the further information says its a private bathroom which suggests its remote from the room.

Around the campus you will find bike shelters and bike racks as well as Parking/Electric Charging Stations. I am afraid that Bikes cannot be storage inside the properties. It will be kept outside under guests responsibility.

What does the difference in price for the same room , is the room a bigger room

The difference in price is due to the occupancy. Single occupancy is cheaper that double occupancy.

Absolutely delightful experience. I am so glad to have chosen to stay here.
The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. The double rooms can be bigger in size. Breakfast was very elaborate and complete, a few more vegetarian items can be added. The location was the high point of this stay as its just next to Arthur's seat. Overall a great experience, I will visit again.
No major disappointment, however room cleaning can happen every alternate day as we stayed for 4 nights.

Nice stay at College of Edinburgh, & we hope to visit again.
Close to town. Beautiful property grounds. Great breakfast. Friendly & Helpful team of people.
The laundry facility had only 3 washers, and 1 was down. Of the 3 dryers, only 1 properly dried. Mass of guests trying to sort out usage, and frequently ppl leaving their stuff in long after cycles complete made for frustration.

Good stay and breakfast
The garden from the campus was beautiful. We had a good room. Great breakfast with more types of food and drinks including with many fruits. The staff is well organized, late/night check-in was available. We had good communication with the staff. I could borrow a hairdryer from the reception.
Small defects in the room Big distance to the center, but there are more busses around.
